Session

The recreational session classes offer the perfect opportunity to continue your dance education with minimal commitment. We have a variety of experience levels and styles to choose from, and all classes are taught by highly-trained Dance Educators.

 

Adult Hip Hop (6-Weeks)

Hip Hop is a stylized form of Jazz. These classes will focus on isolations, coordination as well as style in an environment that is for adults who come with or without any experience. Class is a 6 week session class and does not participate in our year end recital. Fee is for all 6 classes.

Dress Code: Girls

Shoes: Indoor white sole runners.

Apparel: Comfortable clothing (no blue jeans).

Hair: Off the face.

Dress Code: Boys

Shoes: Indoor white sole runners.

Apparel: Comfortable clothing (no blue jeans).

Dance for Cheer (10-Weeks)

A 10-week session class specifically designed for cheerleaders to enhance their dance skills in Jazz and Hip Hop during their off season by experts in the dance industry. In the Jazz portion students will work on proper placement and technique to avoid injuries allowing for even higher kicks and jumps and will be step up their game learning the most current trends in the Hip Hop industry. Our instructors not only are fully certified dance instructors in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and Acrobatics but are also current and past cheerleaders for the Saskatchewan Roughriders! Class fee is for all 10 classes. No classes on April 12th.

Dress Code: Girls

Shoes: Indoor white sole runners.

Apparel: Regular cheer apparel!

Hair: Off the face.

Dress Code: Boys

Shoes: Indoor white sole runners.

Apparel: Comfortable clothing (no blue jeans).

Ballet (10-Weeks)

Students will learn combinations from the Royal Academy of Dance ballet syllabus and do not perform in the year-end recital or competitions. Tuition is a one time payment.

Dress Code: Girls

Shoes: Pink Bloch full-sole ballet slippers.

Apparel: Black leotard of dancer’s choice.

Tights: Mondor #310 classic pink tights.

Hair: Ponytail or bun.

Dress Code: Boys

Shoes: White ballet slippers.

Apparel: Black shorts and white t-shirt.

Socks: White socks.

 

Adult Ballet (12- & 18-Weeks)

A 12- or 18-week session class designed for the adult dancer with 3+ years of experience. Students do not perform in the year-end recital or competitions. We will offer two sessions throughout the year – Fall and Winter/Spring, and tuition is a one-time payment.

Dress Code: Girls

Shoes: Ballet slippers.

Apparel: Yoga-type clothing or whatever you feel comfortable in.

Dress Code: Boys

Shoes: Ballet slippers.

Apparel: Yoga-type clothing or whatever you feel comfortable in.

Tap (10-Weeks)

Students do not perform in the year-end recital or competitions. Tuition is a one time payment.

Dress Code: Girls

Shoes: Black leather low-heel Mary Jane or black split-sole lace-up or slip-on tap shoes (Bloch or Capezio).

Apparel: Dance leotard of dancer’s choice.

Tights: Mondor #310 or #314 Suntan beige tights.

Hair: Off the face.

Dress Code: Boys

Shoes: Black split-sole lace-up or slip-on tap shoes (Bloch or Capezio).

Apparel: Black shorts and white t-shirt.

Socks: Black socks.
