NEW! Broadway Jazz Session

12-Week Winter Session // Ages 18 years and up
This session runs from February 5 – April 30th and does not perform in our Year-End Recital

Did you know… Mrs. Miller trained in Luigi Jazz with Luigi, the legend himself, in New York City?! Luigi even called her “Canada!”. Broadway performers, Rockettes, and even Liza Minnelli graced those classes! Yes, Liza Minnelli! They took class together every year for four summers.

Whether you’re a beginner, an experienced dancer, or somewhere in between, Mrs. Miller’s Broadway Jazz class will teach you Luigi Jazz Technique along with some fabulous Broadway-style moves.

No need to head to New York—We are bringing Broadway to you! 

Dress Code: Men

Apparel

• Comfortable clothing (no jeans)

Shoes (Purchase at Dance Store)

• Jazz shoes or ballet slippers

Hair

• Pulled off the face

Tuition is a one-time payment for all classes in session (not including applicable taxes and registration fee – regisrtation fee will be waived for current Dance City students).

Adult Tap/Jazz Combo

Full-Year Performance OR Technique Class // Ages 18 years and up

Adult Tap-Jazz is offered as a technique OR recital performance class. No previous dance experience is required for technique option – we do recommend having experience for the recital option. Recital option will perform in our two Evening Year-End Recitals in June!

Dress Code: Men

Apparel

• Comfortable clothing (no jeans)

Shoes (Purchase at Dance Store)

• Black Split-Sole, Lace-Up Tap Shoes (Bloch or Capezio)
• Black Jazz Split-Sole Elasta Booties (no laces, Bloch or Capezio)

Hair

• Pulled off the face

RECITAL PERFORMANCE Tuition for the season is divided into four (4) equal payments and will be paid on each of September 1 ($175.00), November 1 ($175.00), January 1 ($175.00) and March 1 ($175.00) and are subject to GST. PST will also be charged on dancer’s recital costume.
Tuition Includes: Dance classes from September – June, Dancer’s Year-End Recital Costume, and Recital Fees.

NON-RECITAL Tuition for the season is divided into four (4) equal payments and will be paid on each of September 1 ($132.00), November 1 ($132.00), January 1 ($132.00) and March 1 ($132.00) and are subject to GST. PST will also be charged on dancer’s recital costume.

Adult Ballet

Full-Year Technique Class // Ages 18 and up

No previous dance experience required. This is a technique class and does not perform in our annual recital.

Adult Hip Hop

Full-Year Technique Class // Ages 18 years and up

No previous dance experience required. This is a technique class and does not perform in our annual recital.

WITHDRAWAL POLICY 10 MONTH PROGRAM // SEPTEMBER TO JUNE // FOUNDATIONS PROGRAM, PROGRESSIONS PROGRAM & ADULT PROGRAM

• A parent/guardian must complete a cancellation form provided by Dance City prior to the next installment pay period (Prior to September 1, November 1, January 1, March 1).
• If lessons are canceled between August 1st and August 31st, a $100 + GST cancellation fee is charged – per dancer.
  • I.e., cancellation form must be filled out on / or before July 31st.
• If lessons are canceled prior to recital, recital costume becomes the property of Dance City.  No refunds provided.
• Costume fees / installments are non-refundable.
• Registration fees / installments are non-refundable.
• Recital fees / installments are non-refundable.
• Refunds are not provided for any missed classes.
