Owner, Artistic Director & Dance Educator
Miss Nadine is a registered teacher and mentor with the Royal Academy of Dance, holds her ADAPT teachers certificate, CDTA membership and has her Acrobatic Arts teacher certification. She has trained with the State Street Ballet Company (Santa Barbara, CA), The American Academy of Ballet (Eugene, OR), Canadian Dance World (New Westminster, BC) and Drewitz School of Dance (Estevan, SK). She is also a national competition adjudicator and the recipient of numerous choreography awards. Some of Miss Nadine’s students have gone on to work professionally with Celebrity Cruise, Princess Cruise, de Costa Talent Management and Globe Theatre; have trained with the Randolph College for Performing Arts and University of Houston Dance Program; and have appeared in various shows including Beverly Hills 90212, Shameless and two up-and-coming shows on NBC and Netflix!
Owner & Finance and Administration Director
Brett is the backbone of the studio and keeps the lights on (literally!). His primary responsibilites are the logistical operations of the company and overseeing it’s financials. He has been technically trained to be an electrician and has extensive experience working in network operations for the provincial telephone and data carrier. Ultimately, Brett stepped away from those endeavors in order to focus on raising his and Nadine’s two sons and running the family business.
Miss Heather grew up in Moose Jaw, SK and studied joinery at British Columbia Institute of Technology in Burnaby, BC. She has built and designed furniture, built sets for Regina Summer Stage Theatre, props for photography studios and sets for the Saskatchewan film industry. She has also instructed students in a Girls Exploring Trades and Technology camp at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. She has been the Office Administrator for Dance City since 2018 and her daughter Lexi enjoys dancing at the studio. She believes that being a mother has been, without a doubt, her greatest source of achievement, pride and inspiration.
RAD RTS, B.Ed.
Miss Randi is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance, hold her ADAPT Teacher Certificates in Jazz and Tap, is a Member of the CDTA Sask Branch – Stage Division, holds her Acrobatic Arts Teacher Certification and has her Bachelor of Arts Education from the University of Regina. She is a teacher with the Regina Catholic School Division and has over 15 years of experience preparing and entering students for dance examinations and competitions.
Miss Nicole has her ADAPT Teachers certificate in Tap and Jazz, is an Associate Member with the CDTA Branch – Stage Division, and was a member of the Team Canada National Tap Team in 2014 that competed in Riesa, Germany. She completed her Advanced 2 RAD Ballet certificate, Grade 8 RAD Ballet certificate, Advanced CDTA Tap and Jazz certificates, Intermediate 1 ADAPT Tap and Jazz certificates and is a former graduate of Dance City’s Pre-Professional Team. Nicole is currently in the final stages of pursuing her RAD Ballet teaching certificate.
Miss Louise has her Teaching Diploma from the Royal Academy of Dance (United Kingdom), is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance, holds her Level 1 Acrobatic Arts Certificate, is a National Dance Associate ISTD, holds her Pilates Matwork certificate, a certificate in basic science of exercise, certificate in stability ball training and certificate in aqua aerobics. She has completed her Advanced 1 RAD Ballet certificate and Advanced 2 National Folk Dancing Certificate ISTD-Distinction. She has over 18 years of teaching experience preparing and entering students for examinations and competitions. She has danced in and coached many dancers to compete in international dance competitions and festivals, and trained at Marie Sadie Ballet and National Academy in Gauteng, South Africa.
Miss Erin holds her Year 1 ADAPT Tap and Jazz Training School, Acrobatic Arts Modules 1 and 2 certifications and has a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Marketing. She competed in the 2003, 2004 and 2005 World Baton Twirling Championships in Barcelona Spain, Osaka Japan and Minneapolis USA respectively, and has over 10 years of experience preparing and entering students for examinations and competitions.
Miss Emily is an Associate Member with the CDTA Sask Branch – Stage Division and has her Masters in Business Administration. She completed her Advanced CDTA Tap certificate, Intermediate CDTA Jazz certificate, Advanced 1 RAD Ballet certificate and Intermediate 1 ADAPT Tap and Jazz certificates. She has over 15 years of experience teaching dance and preparing student for examinations. She trained at Myers Dance Centre and Applause Dance Academy, was a member of the Mini Salsations Dance Company, has performed with the Alberta Ballet Company, is a dance competition adjudicator and teaches dance workshops across rural Saskatchewan.
Miss Chrissy was the Dance Captain, Aerialist, Install Director and Feature Dancer for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines for 10 years; Dance Captain and Swing onboard Disney Cruise Lines; Former Dancer, Rehearsal Director, Assistant to Artistic Director and Choreographer for the touring company of Saskatchewan Express; and Assistant Teacher and Senior member of the Salsations Dance Company. She has over 20 years teaching experience and is the recipient of numerous choreography, overall and high mark awards. Chrissy has her Advanced CDTA Tap and Jazz certificates with honours, Grade 8 RAD Ballet certificate with distinction, Intermediate 2 RAD Ballet certificate and Intermediate 1 ADAPT Jazz certificate.
Mr Armando has performed for and trained with the following companies as a soloist and in the ensemble: Italian National Ballet Company, New Euroballet Company, Renato Greco Dance Company, Mvula Sungani Italian Dance Theatre, Ballet of Naples, Rome Opera Theatre, Greek Theatre of Siracusa, In Scena Opera Company and Spazio Dance Company. He also performed for five years on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines touring the world. Under full scholarship, he trained at A.I.D. in Rome; OFF JAZZ Company in France; The Company Classical Ballet Association of Reggio Emilia and with Neva Dimova, Siracusa. He has over 20 years experience teaching and choreographing in Italy and Canada, and is the recipient of numerous choreography, overall and high point awards.
Miss Rachel was a member of the 2014 Junior Canadian Tap Team that competed at worlds in Reisa, Germay and was the Captain of the LeBuldus Dance Team in the 2017/18 season. She has her Intermediate 3 ADAPT Tap and Jazz certificates, Advanced CDTA Tap certificate, Grade 8 RAD Ballet certificate, Advanced Foundation RAD Ballet certificate and former graduate of Dance City’s Pre-Professional team. She is currently a cheerleader/dancer for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Miss Ashley has been a part of the Dance City family for close to 10 years. After dancing her senior year at the studio, she spent a year dancing at a Mexico resort and then came home and joined the University of Regina Dance Team. She is currently the head coach of the University of Regina Dance Team and is a sixth year member of the 620 Rider Cheer Team. She helps around the studio with assisting in Jazz and Acrobatics classes and also works in the office when extra help is needed. When she is not at the studio, she works full time as an educational assistant and youth care worker at Ranch Ehrlo.
