Summer Drop-In Classes // July – August
Why is Summer dance so important?
Unlike many sports, dance doesn’t have a true “off season.” Because dance technique is built through continuous training, long breaks can actually set dancers back leading to “rebuilding” in the Fall. Consistency over the summer helps dancers maintain their progress, technique, and strength.
Here’s why summer matters:
-
Technique declines quickly without regular practice
-
Strength, stamina, and flexibility regress during long breaks
-
Injury risk increases when dancers return after time off
- Avoid rebuilding in Fall
Summer training ensures dancers stay strong, safe, and ready to keep growing.
Is your dancer auditioning for a for a Solo, Duo, Trio or Audition Group?
Dancers auditioning for a Solo, Duo, Trio or Audition Groups are required to attend a minimum of three Summer Drop-In Technique Clinics. Dancers attending a Summer dance school or program may be excused from attending these drop-ins to qualify for a Solo, Duo, Trio or Audition Group.
