Safety protocols

Our number one concern is the safety of our dance families and staff. We are committed to adhering to all government guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety. Please check back often for the most up-to-date information about our COVID-19 planning and procedures.

Similar to what we followed in the 2020-21 dance season, we will be following these safety protocols beginning on Tuesday, September 7, 2021:

  • Masks are required for all staff and students aged 3 and up inside our lobbies and classrooms until further notice. Any students not wishing to wear a mask in the studio are welcome to take their classes through our online Zoom platform;
  • All of our teaching faculty members are fully vaccinated;
  • All students will have their temperature checked on their wrist and offered hand sanitizer when they enter the facility;
  • The facility will be cleaned between classes and more thoroughly at the start of each day;
  • While distancing squares are no longer on the floors in the classrooms, markers will be used and we will be following physical distancing protocols;
  • Frequent hand sanitizing and hand washing will be encouraged;
  • Students will bring all of their personal belongings (in a bookbag, including their outdoor shoes) into the classroom with them and place them in personal buckets for the length of their class;
  • Entrances and exits between classrooms have been choreographed to ensure the least amount of traffic and congestion possible in our lobby spaces;
  • The lobbies will remain closed to everyone aside from our students; and
  • Classes will be held in person, but if someone isn’t feeling well they are asked to stay home and join the class through the Zoom link (found in the parent portal).

If you are feeling unwell in any way, please do not visit the studio.

Please note that we are following the situation closely and following all provincial guidelines. These are the guidelines at this time but they may change in the future.
