Spring Session Classes
Our Foundations, Progressions and Adult Spring Session Classes offer dancers of all levels the perfect opportunity to explore various dance styles, refine their techniques, and have FUN! Sessional classes conclude with an in-class showcase for parents / guardians to see what dancers have been working on. Sessional Classes do not perform in the year-end recital.

Introduction to Dance for Parent & Tot
Foundations Teenie Tots is designed for both Parent and Tots age 18 months to 3 years to take together! This class offers an exciting introduction to dance by exploring movement through music and story telling while using instruments and props to keep those little ones engaged. Teenie Tots offers a comforting setting as mom or dad (or guardian) will be by your side the whole time!
This Session’s Theme: Animal Adventure!
Get ready to move and groove with some of your favorite animal friends! Each week, we’ll explore the world of animals with inspiration from beloved shows like Paw Patrol, Bluey, and Cocomelon. From hopping like bunnies to stomping like dinosaurs, your little one will develop coordination and creativity while having a wild time!
Dress Code:
- Comfortable clothing
- Socks or bare feet
- Hair pulled off the face in a bun or ponytail
Tuition for Foundations Sessions are a one-time payment for all classes in session (not including registration fee and applicable taxes).

Your little dancer will twirl and tap their way through the magical world of Disney Princesses! Each week, we’ll dance to songs from beloved princess movies like Frozen, The Little Mermaid, and Moana. With a sprinkle of imagination, dancers will leap like royalty, twirl like a princess, and create their own fairytale adventures!
Dress Code
- Students are welcome to come dressed up each week – they can wear tutus, tiaras, crowns or any other princess/ prince clothing they may have!
- Princess / Prince dress up!
- Any dance / active wear
- Hair pulled off the face in bun
Shoes
- Pink Leather Full-Sole Ballet Slippers (Bloch or Capezio)
- Black Patent or Black Leather Mary Jane Tap Shoes (Bloch or Capezio)
Tumble Tots:
Jungle Explorers
Dance, Acro & Floor Tumbling
Ages 3 – 6 yrs
April 6 – May 25
Get ready to swing, tumble, and leap through the jungle! In this wild and fun-themed session, dancers will move like animals, from crawling like tigers to balancing like monkeys, all while building their strength and flexibility. Props like jungle vines, animal headbands, and playful sound effects will help bring the adventure to life!
Dress Code:
- Students are welcome to come dressed up each week as a Jungle Animal!
- Any dance / active wear
- Socks, slippers or indoor runners
- Hair pulled off the face
Groovy Tots:
Mini Popstars
Hip Hop & Jazz
Ages 3 – 4 yrs
April 6 – May 25
It’s time to dance like a popstar! Each week, we’ll shake and groove to kid-friendly hits from Taylor Swift, Kidz Bop, and more. Your little one will love learning simple routines, twirling with their friends, and shining bright like the superstar they are!
Dress Code:
- Students are welcome to come dressed up each week as their favourite pop stars!
- Any dance / active wear
- Socks, slippers or indoor runners
- Hair pulled off the face
Groovy Tots:

Hip Hop & Jazz
Ages 5 – 6 yrs
April 11 – May 23
Get ready to shine like a star! Each week, dancers will groove to popular hits from artists like Taylor Swift, Kidz Bop, and more. Your little popstar will love learning energetic routines while building confidence and having a blast on their own mini dance floor!

- Students are welcome to come dressed up each week as their favourite pop stars!

Adult Broadway Jazz
12-Weeks // Ages 18+
This session runs from February 5th – April 30th and does not perform in our Year-End Recital
Did you know… Mrs. Miller trained in Luigi Jazz with Luigi, the legend himself, in New York City?! Luigi even called her “Canada!”. Broadway performers, Rockettes, and even Liza Minnelli graced those classes! Yes, Liza Minnelli! They took class together every year for four summers.
Whether you’re a beginner, an experienced dancer, or somewhere in between, Mrs. Miller’s Broadway Jazz class will teach you Luigi Jazz Technique along with some fabulous Broadway-style moves.
No need to head to New York—We are bringing Broadway to you!

Session Classes Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation refund is only accepted if cancellation form has been submitted to Dance City within 7 days of the student’s registration date.
- Any cancellations received after the 7 days may qualify for full credit if notice has been received before the 1st class.
- $40.00 Registration fee will not be refunded.
