Toddler Tots 

Full-Year Performance Class // Ages 3 to 4 years

Foundations Toddler Tots focuses on movement and music for tots aged 3 to 4 years in Pre-Ballet and Tap. Our professionally designed curriculum is theme-based and progresses from month to month; each month students will take home a skill chart that outlines all of the steps that were focused on that month. Students have in-class parent showcases throughout the year and finish the season in June performing in our annual Year-End Recital at the Conexus Arts Centre. This is the perfect class for tots that are new to dance and for those that participated in our Teenie Tots class.

Shoes (Purchase at Dance Store)

• Black Full-Sole Ballet Slippers (Bloch or Capezio)

Tuition for the season is divided into four (4) equal payments which includes dance lessons from September to June and the dancer’s recital costume. The tuition payment amount listed below will be paid on each of September 1, November 1, January 1 and March 1 and are subject to GST. ($154.63 + GST paid on September 1, $154.63 + GST paid on November 1, $154.63 + GST paid on January 1 and $154.63 + GST paid on March 1.)

Tiny Tots

Level 1 Combo

Full-Year Performance Class // Ages 6 to 7 years

Our Foundations Level 1 Combo class is designed for dancers who have completed Advanced Tiny Tots or for 6 to 7 year olds that are new to dance. This class includes tap, jazz and acrobatics and is a 1.5 hour class once a week. The professionally designed curriculum for this class is theme-based and progresses from month to month, and each month students will take home a skill chart that outlines all of the steps that were focused on that month. Students have in-class parent showcases throughout the year and finish the season in June performing in our annual Year-End Recital at the Conexus Arts Centre. At this level, it is recommended that the dancer also take Competitive Pre-Primary Ballet.

Teenie Tots

Session Class // Ages 18 months to 3 years

Foundations Teenie Tots is designed for both Parent and Tots age 18 months to 3 years to take together! This class offers an exciting introduction to dance by exploring movement through music and story telling while using instruments and props to keep those little ones engaged. Teenie Tots offers a comforting setting as mom or dad (or guardian) will be by your side the whole time!

Groovy Tots

Session Class // Ages 3 to 5 years

Foundations Groovy Tots combines Jazz, Hip Hop and Tumbling for your active 3-5 year old. No shoes or special clothing required and it is a great way to burn some energy, try out some new dance moves to great music and meet some new friends!

Foundations Kiddie Tots offers an exciting introduction to dance for your active 3-5 year old. The class is for beginner dancers and includes movement and music for boys and girls in Pre Ballet and Tap.

Tumble Tots

Session Class // Ages 3 to 5 years

Foundations Tumble Tots is a combination of Dance, Acro and Floor Tumbling, to emphasize strength, balance and flexibility. This is a great class for your active 3-5 year old with exercises that are carefully designed to suit your child’s age and ability. Don’t let your child miss out on enhancing the athletic stages of their development!

10 Month Classes (September to June) Cancellation Policy

• A parent/guardian must complete a cancellation form provided by Dance City prior to the next tuition pay period. (Prior to September 1, November 1, January 1, March 1)
• Refunds are not provided for any missed classes
• If lessons are canceled prior to March 1, recital costume becomes the property of Dance City.  No refunds provided.
• Registration Fees are non refundable

Session Classes Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation refund is only accepted if cancellation form has been submitted to Dance City within 7 days of the student’s registration date.
• Any cancellations received after the 7 days may qualify for full credit if notice has been received before the 1st class.
• $35.00 Registration fee will not be refunded.
