Toddler Tots, Tiny Tots & Kinder Stars

Ages 3 to 6 years // Ballet & Tap Recital Class
Classes run from September to June
Dancers perform in our Matinee Recital on June 12, 2027 at 1:00pm

Foundations Toddler Tots, Tiny Tots and Kinder Stars focus on movement and music in Pre-Ballet and Tap. Our professionally designed curriculum is theme-based and progresses from month to month; each month students will take home a skill chart that outlines all of the steps that were focused on that month. Students have in-class parent showcases throughout the year and finish the season in June performing in our annual Year-End Recital at the Conexus Arts Centre. Our Foundations program is perfect for new and experienced dancers! Parents can also watch weekly classes online through our live stream service.

Kinder Stars

Ballet & Tap
Ages 5 to 6 years

• Kinder Stars is for students born Nov 1, 2020 – Oct 31, 2021
• Performs in our Matinee Recital on June 12, 2027 at 1:00pm

Toddler Tots, Tiny Tots and Kinder Stars Tuition for the season is divided into four (4) equal payments and will be paid: Upon registration ($221.00), November 1 ($221.00), January 1 ($221.00) and March 1 ($221.00) and are subject to GST. PST will also be charged on dancer’s recital costume.
Tuition Includes: Dance classes from September – June, Dancer’s Year-End Recital Costume, and Recital Fees.

Fees listed do not include $40 +GST registration fee and 2% credit card surcharge

ADD ON Hip Hop Tots

This class is specifically for students enrolling in Tiny Tots OR Kinder Stars
Classes run from September to June

ADD ON a Hip Hop Tots class that also performs in our Year-End Recital! Hip Hop Tots can be ADDED ON if your dancer is also enrolled in Tiny Tots OR Kinder Stars.  Students MUST be enrolled in Foundations Tiny Tots OR Kinder Stars to enroll in Hip Hop Tots.

Hip Hop Tots Tuition for the season is divided into four (4) equal payments and will be paid: Upon registration ($202.00), November 1 ($202.00), January 1 ($202.00) and March 1 ($202.00) and are subject to GST. PST will also be charged on dancer’s recital costume.
Tuition Includes: Dance classes from September – June, Dancer’s Year-End Recital Costume, and Recital Fees.

ADD ON Competitive Pre-Primary Ballet

Ages 6 to 7 years // Ballet Competition and Recital Class
Classes run from September to June
Dancers perform in two local competitions in Spring 2027 and perform in our Matinee recital on June 12, 2027 at 1:00pm

Competitive Pre-Primary Ballet is the perfect introduction to the world of competition, a HIGHLIGHT of our dancer’s year! We have carefully designed our Rising Stars and Pre-Primary Ballet classes to set dancers up for success in their future dance exams. They will learn important skills in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz which are the future exams that our competitive dancers take year-to-year.

Students attend two local competitions in Spring and finish the season in June performing in our annual Year-End Recital at the Conexus Arts Centre. Students MUST be enrolled in Foundations Rising Stars to enroll in Competitive Pre-Primary Ballet.

At this level, it is recommended that dancers also take Foundations Hip Hop Stars in addition to Rising Stars and Competitive Ballet Pre-Primary – see below.

Competitive Ballet Pre-Primary students are required to attend:

• Easter Week: March 29 – April 2, 2027
• Competition Dress Rehearsal: April 3 & 4, 2027
• Competition #1: Candance Regina – April 22-25, 2027
• Competition #2: TBD – likely beginning of May, 2027

Competitive students are required to attend all of the above dates – no exceptions

 WITHDRAWAL POLICY 10 MONTH PROGRAM // SEPTEMBER TO JUNE // FOUNDATIONS PROGRAM, PROGRESSIONS PROGRAM ALUMNI & ADULT PROGRAM

• A parent/guardian must complete a cancellation form provided by Dance City prior to the next installment pay period (Prior to November 1, January 1, March 1).
• Credits and/or refunds are not offered if cancellation form is not filled out before the next installment pay period (Prior to November 1, January 1, March 1).
• If lessons are canceled prior to March 1, costume becomes the property of Dance City.  No refunds or credits provided.
• Costumes are property of Dance City until your account is paid in full.
• Costumes are property of Dance City if they are not picked up by June 15 (including costumes not picked up from quick change).
• Tuition fees / installments are non-refundable.
• 1st installment paid upon registration is also non-refundable, even if classes have not begun.
• Costume fees / installments are non-refundable.
• Registration fees / installments are non-refundable.
• Recital fees / installments are non-refundable.
• Refunds are not provided for any missed classes.
